Cannock Chase, often referred to locally as The Chase, is a mixed area of countryside in the county of Staffordshire, England. The area has been designated as the Cannock Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Longdon is situated in the heart of England within the district of Lichfield and on the A51 approximately midway between Lichfield and Rugeley it is surrounded by lush farmland, and bordering on the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty of the Forest of Mercia

This 6.1-mile circular trail near Rugeley, Staffordshire. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 34 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding, hiking, and walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day.

The walking route is moderately challenging due to the nature of the surfaces and the number and design of the stiles but, if you're up to it, you'll be rewarded with fabulous views of the rolling hills throughout.
