Llandysul

Event Details

General information

This walk of just under 6 miles from the small rural market town of Llandysul takes us along quiet country lanes to the Woodland Trust’s Coed y Foel woods.

We then start to climb gradually through this predominately sessile oak woodland with big patches of bilberry to emerge onto open farmland.

From here there are stunning views back to the town and the surrounding rolling hills. We continue over fields and passing windmills before descending to the path that winds its way  alongside the beautiful Teffi river and back into town.

Bring packed lunch and there is a nice cafe in Llandysul for coffee and cake (or otherwise) afterwards. Pubs too.

Mae’r daith gerdded yma chydig dan 6 milltir o dref farchnad fach wledig Llandysul yn mynd a ni ar hyd lonydd gwledig at Goed y Foel Coed Cadw.

Wedyn ryn ni’n dechrau dringo yn raddol trwy’r coed, deri sesile gan mwya ble mae’na lawer o lus duon bach yn tyfu a chyrraedd allan i dir fferm agored.

O’r fan yma mae’na olygfa drawiadol nol tua’r dre a’r bryniau hyfryd o gwmpas. Ry’n ni yn para mlaen ar draws caeau a mynd heibio melin wynt cyn disgyn i’r llwybr sy’n troelli gyda glan afon Teifi dlos a nol i’r dre.

Dewch a bwyd at ginio ac mae’na gaffe dymunol yn Llandysul i gael coffi a theisen (neu beth bynnag) Tafarnau hefyd.
