Coronavirus / Covid-19

Following recent changes in government advice regarding Covid-19 to avoid all non-essential travel and maintain social distancing, all walks and other activities are cancelled until the end of April.

We will continue to review the situation with regard to events beyond April.  Further information can be found here, and will be udpated in due course.

General information

Liverpool to Southport and back again. Taking in some of the Liverpool to Leeds canal on the way out and the Ainsdale Nature Reserve and Anthony Gormley installation on the way back.

63 miles in total with lunch stopover near Southport beach.

Flat terrain mostly but on and off road cycling so Hybrid bike best.  Can be done on a road bike but if muddy, you will probably come off!

Challenging day but mostly flat terrain. Off/on road cycling.
