Lewesdon Hill from Laverstock Farm
A circular walk of about 8 miles in west Dorset, taking in Lewesdon Hill, one of the highest points in Dorset, and the pretty village of Stoke Abbott. May be shortended a little if weather is poor. From our starting point, we'll go up and along Lewesdon Hill. From there we'll proceed towards Stoke Abbott for our picnic break. After lunch we'll climb up to the Wessex Ridgeway and make our way back to our starting point via a slightly different way. Some climbing, some wooded paths and the possibiltity of a muddy lane if weather has been wet but a sumptuous tea afterwards at Laverstock Farm
