Coronavirus / Covid-19
Following recent changes in government advice regarding Covid-19 to avoid all non-essential travel and maintain social distancing, all walks and other activities are cancelled until further notice.
We will continue to review the situation in line with guidance issued by the government. Further information can be found here, and will be udpated in due course.
An 8 mile circular walk ascending via Ingleby incline (a track for bringing ironstone down from the moor) to find the ruins of the winding house. We return by the Cleveland Way to Battersby Crag then down Ingleby Bank to the village.
The return is the steepest (downhill) although ascending the incline is a 250m even pull.
You will need to bring a packed lunch, wet weather clothing and walking boots.
