This very enjoyable walk starts from the quintessentially english White Hart pub in the hamlet of Ford. It follows meadows, rivers & valleys through farmland, woodland & various other hamlets with stunning old mills, village ponds with ducks, geese & anything else which makes a noise. Dogs are welcome but on leads when livestock is present please. There are one or two stiles. If the weather is warm we will make a few stops along the route. We will likely have a brew & a natter at the White Hart after the walk. Bring friends to introduce to the delights of the GOC!
Terrain / Difficulty
Off road, varied terrain through meadows & woodland. One long track where farm vehicles have created ridges but this can also be partly avoided.
