This walk begins and ends in the village of East Budleigh the home of Sir Walter Raleigh.

The route will take us in a SW direction cross country  to  Bear Lane and then swings right along Dalditch Lane and passes Squabmoor Reservoir and Bystock Pools and in to  East Budleigh Common with fine views across the valley. We then return via Hayes Wood and Hayeswood Lane to return tothe car park and finishing point.

After arrival back we can have the option of visiting Otterton Mill, Otterton (EX9 7HG) Cafe for a cream tea and cakes.

Please note: a few styles and gates are muddy, and suitable footwear should be used as the combination of rain and cattle churning the exit to a couple of fields have made it muddy under foot.
