Coronavirus / Covid-19
Following recent changes in government advice regarding Covid-19 to avoid all non-essential travel and maintain social distancing, all walks and other activities are cancelled until further notice.
We will continue to review the situation in line with guidance issued by the government. Further information can be found here, and will be udpated in due course.
We walk via the ruins of Midley Church and the rather forgotten little town of Lydd (not without its charms) to Dungeness. There may be time to visit the old lighthouse and/or glance at Derek Jarman's cottage before catching the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch miniature steam railway (about £5 a head) to New Romney, from which we then walk back to Old Romney. This is a combined East & West Kent walk.
