This is part of 4 days walking on the Heart of Wales walking trail.
It will be a 5 to 6 mile afternoon walk starting at Craven Arms.
Weather and timings will decide if we finish the walk at Clunbury (or Aston on Clun) *** and then get a taxi back to Craven Arms to stay that night--see below for details of taxi booked to pick us up at the end of the walk.
(Starting at Clunbury the following day.)
*** Another factor will be if the attendees want to detour off the main path between Aston on Clun and Clunbury to visit Broome station or not and just stay on the main path.
After arriving at Craven Arms we will take a necessary pit stop for refreshments and information before heading west through the rolling landscape of the South Shropshire Hills, through the ancient parish of Sibdon Carwood, over Hopesay common and into the Clun valley.
