Cornwood near Ivybridge
Along lovely quiet lanes and bridleways in this little visited corner of Dartmoor. Starting in the picturesque village of Cornwood the route climbs steadily upwards to the edge of the open moor. This is an easy 5 mile circular walk on firm terrain throughout. The route includes half a mile along a green lane which is very stony so stout footwear is essential.
Please being a packed lunch and perhaps a waterproof mat to sit on at the woodland lunch stop.
Refreshments afterwards at a nearby garden centre.
