An 8.5 mile circular walk starting from the Jack and Jill Windmills. We then head to the Chattri War Memorial for 11am to observe the 2 minutes silence on Remembrance Sunday.

Then we follow tracks via Lower Standean and Highpark Wood and on to the South Downs Way, returning to the car park via Ditchling Beacon. There are fabulous views to be enjoyed along this stretch of the Downs. It is likely to be muddy in a few places so please bring appropriate footwear and clothing for November. It may also be windy on exposed stretches. Please bring drink and a packed lunch.

Hot tea and coffee will be provided at the end of the walk. Contributions of cake or other goodies to share will be most welcome.

Dogs are welcome if kept on leads whenever near livestock, on roads or if requested by the walk leader.
