Covid-19 - getting back outdoors
Our groups in England are now able to offer events, starting from the 18th of July, with a maximum of six participants on each event. To take part in any of these events you must book using the ticketed booking system. If the event you are looking at does not show ticket options it is either fully booked, or has not yet been set up to take bookings. Our Scottish and Welsh groups are still not able to run events at this time, but we hope this will change in the near future as guidance from the relevant governments is updated.
A 9 mile circular walk from Chipping Campden to Hidcote and back. The walk crosses between two counties taking in the highest point in Warwickshire.
Weather permitting the views should be stunning. There is a strong Arts and Crafts history in the area dating from the time of Charles Robert Ashbee, Gordon Russell and Major Lawrence Johnston.
Depending on the finish time there may be the option of tea shops or other eating establishments in Chipping Campden, depending on their post lockdown policies.
NB. This is a repeat of the walk that Brian & Peter led on the 26th July, so if you walked with them on the 26th, you may wish to consider one of the other South Midlands walks offered on the 9th of August, currently published and available to book.
Terrain / Difficulty
A couple of gradual inclines and one short steep section. Total ascent about 800 feet.
