Coronavirus / Covid-19
Following recent changes in government advice regarding Covid-19 to avoid all non-essential travel and maintain social distancing, all walks and other activities are cancelled until further notice.
We will continue to review the situation in line with guidance issued by the government. Further information can be found here, and will be udpated in due course.
This is a weekend away arranged by the Somerset and West Wales groups.
The plan is for a short walk at Cheddar Gorge on Friday afternoon, click here for details

At time of writing caves are open 10am to 5pm--please check nearer.
***Anyone wanting to visit the caves might want to in the morning before the afternoon walk starts.
Saturday: 9 mile walk at Ebbor Gorge and Wells plus Saturday evening meal.

PLEASE NOTE BRITISH SUMMER TIME STARTS THIS WEEKEND.
People will find their own accommodation. There is plenty of choice in and around Cheddar.Unfortunately the YH in Cheddar doesn't open until 1st April.
Other smaller nearby villages like Axbridge, Winscombe and Draycott have pubs and bed and breakfast accommodation and there is a Premier Inn at Sidcot, 4 miles from Cheddar.
