Following recent changes in government advice regarding Covid-19 to avoid all non-essential travel and maintain social distancing, all walks and other activities are cancelled until further notice.

THE DETAILS OF THIS EVENT HAVE BEEN PUBLISHED FOR MEMBERS' INFORMATION WITH THAT STRONG CAVEAT. WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO SCHEDULE AND RUN THE EVENT WHEN IT IS SAFE TO DO SO, ACCORDING TO GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS AND ADVICE AND CONSIDERATION BY THE GOC BOARD.
Another 9 mile part of the Capital Ring today continues GOC London's circuit into the the old country of Middlesex, now forming parts of west and northwest London. Unlike last month's section, as well as following waterways such as the Grand Union Canal, this one ascents high ground at Horsenden and Gotsfords hills with extensive views.
The walk will be about 9 miles in length. As with other sections of the Capital Ring there will be opportunies to leave the walk early, should people find this convenient.
Terrain / Difficulty
Mainly on firm or tarmac paths, tracks or pavements, but with some rough, muddy ground and some steep climbs.
