We are restarting some events with the easing of lockdown restrictions.
Currenly walks in England can restart from the 29th of March. Walks in Scotland may take place with a maximum of 15 participants, but all participants (and walks) must stay within their own local authority area. Walks in Wales are not currently able to restart.
The first of three linear day rides taking in sections of the 136-mile Sustrans Sea to Sea cycle route which runs from Whitehaven on the Irish sea to Sunderland on the North Sea. This section covers the first 54 miles across the Lake District. Click here for a map of the proposed route. Please see the entries for Day 2 and Day 3. You can decide to do the whole route or just join for the day or days you want.
Please make your own accommodation bookings at Whitehaven, Penrith, Consett and Sunderland as needed. Details of suggested accommodation are given in the members only section below.
