A lovely 9 mile walk starting in Alfriston and heading west onto the South Downs Way, eventually looping north back via Berwick. We will visit the recently renovated church there to see the Bloomsbury group murals. As always, Duncan Grant's work is a bit cheeky.

Bring some drink for the walk and a packed lunch to eat halfway. Please wear clothes appropriate for the weather and terrain. Depending on the weather there is likely to be mud, which was in plentiful supply when the walk was checked in March. Dogs are welcome if kept on leads whenever near livestock, on roads or if requested by the walk leader.

Fresh tea and coffee will be provided at the end of the walk. If you wish to bring cake or other goodies to share that would be most welcome.
