Canterbury West Circular
This is an all day circular walk of around 9 miles divided in two parts:
The first part of the walk (roughly 3 miles) follows the Great Stour Way to Chartham on flat terrain but once crossed the river at Chartham, the terrain becomes moderately hilly and a bit more demanding.
The second part of the walk takes us across fields and through orchards and woodland with a nice rewarding stop at No Man's Orchard for apple picking.
It's a public orchard with a huge Bramley apple tree and many older varieties of apple, so no danger of being caught scrumping just make sure there's room in your bags for some.
