Robert lead a small but determined group of 6 walkers and one dog for this 9 mile circular walk from Polstead. We were lucky with the weather as some parts of Suffolk had a dusting of snow over the Saturday night which may have had an adverse effect on the turnout but thankfully the area of the walk was not affected.
The walk took us along quiet roads, footpaths and tracks including around the grounds of the 15 Century Gifford Hall. Although a little muddy in places nothing would stop us from getting to our lunch stop where everyone enjoyed a delicious roast dinner.
After forcing ourselves out of the pub the return walk took us back along mainly quiet country roads to our start point.
Lovely walk with good company, although i may well ban discussion about Trump and Brexit next time.
