North Berwick Coastline – 24th January

For our fist walk of the year we visited the pretty seaside town on North Berwick for a walk along the Coast to Tantallon Castle and the lovely beach at Seacliffe.

Sixteen and a dog turned out on an incredibly mild day for late January for the walk.  We got the Tantallon Castle and managed to blag our way in past the helpful ticket attendant avoiding the £4.50 entrance fee to walk through the grounds (well done Douglas and Malcolm).  Country lanes and farmland were followed back to North Berwick.  Unfortunately it was too late for an ascent of North Berwick Law.  Thanks to Douglas for leading.  The next walk will be from Tweedbank on the 21st February.
