A most stunning, cloudless, November day reigned over our group of 25 entrepid walkers, and a dog, through 8 miles of beautiful South Bucks countryside. Robert Liston took us on an informative journey exploring cute little villages and rolling green hills and included some grisly parts of English history including the Amersham Martyrs Memorial in memory of the 6 man and one woman burnt at the stake for their religious beliefs:

A line of chatting GOC's in the November sun:

Jolly walkers bathed in Buck's sunshine:

And more of much the same.........

Lunch at last, el fresco.......

More post lunch pics.....

Rolling hills to contend with in glorious sunshine:

Rest stop......"are we nearly there???"........

Next time bring a torch! (Actually was a tunnel of hedges! Not lost after dark!)

Almost there, the station is minutes away, and so was the train home!
