Events

GOC organises an extensive programme of activities through our many local and special interest groups. You can read about the types of event that we organise on our activities page. All currently planned events are listed here but the best way to keep up to date with events is to subscribe to our group mailings.

In order to get the best from the events listing you should register on this site and log in as a guest, which will allow you to see the main details of each event. To see full details you need to be a member of GOC (see the Join page for details).

Finding an event

A list of forthcoming events can be found on the My Events page, but you can also look at our individual group listings.  Members can use our detailed search facility to find events by distance and type of event. There is a separate section for regular events held every week or month.

Going on an event

Most of our events are free to come along to, and you don't have to book.

Members can see details of where and when to meet (including a link to an Ordnance Survey map of the start), and the person leading the event whom you can contact if you want to find out more.

Guests are welcome to attend up to three events before joining the club. If you see an event that you would like to attend just use the button provided on the event details to send a private message to the Event Contact who will tell you how to get to the event.
