Activation Problems

If you have registered your details on our website, but have not received your email with the activation code, this may be because your email service provider has blocked emails from GOC. This happens occasionally with some providers, particularly Hotmail and is outside our control. Until you have activated your account, you cannot log in to the site. In these cases, it's best not to re-register as you'll need to select a new username.

Here are a few things you can try instead.

  • Ensure that your email system's spam filters allow emails from news@goc.org.uk.
  • Request that the activation email is re-sent.
  • Use a different email address.
  • Contact Us to have your activation code sent to you manually.

If you now have your activation code, please proceed to the activation page, where you will need to enter the code and your email address.

 

Contact Us

Please use our Contact Us page to ask the Webmaster to send your activation code manually. Please note we may not be able to do this for up to 24 hours, so please consider the other options above first.
